Modric named FIFA Men's POTY

Luka Modric has been named The Best FIFA Men’s Player of the Year for 2018, beating out Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah.

The is the second award Modric has beaten Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah, after clinchinh the UEFA Men's Player of the Season.

Modric played a key role in Real Madrid's UEFA Champions League success last season, while he also helped Croatia reach the final at the 2018 World Cup, where he was named Player of the Tournament.

Didier Deschamps was named Best Men's Coach after leading France to second World Cup title in July.
