Cavin banking on Ntuli against Chiefs

AmaZulu coach Cavin Johnson is hoping striker Bongi Ntuli will be a menace when they visit Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, just as he was last Sunday in a 3-3 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Ntuli, who is on loan from Sundowns to Usuthu, harrassed the Brazilians’ defence, often playing with his back to goal. He bagged Usuthu’s third goal of the match, but it was unfortunately not the winner as Sibusiso Vilakazi netted in the final 10 minutes of the game to rescue a point for visiting Sundowns.
Johnson says Ntuli is a great addition to the team.
“He's a plus for AmaZulu. He played very well as the first time coming up for AmaZulu this year,” said Johnson.
“But I know Bongz for many years and I know his strengths, weaknesses, and that is what he gives you – he gives you his heart.
Meanwhile, the former Supersport United coach says he still needs to work on his defence. Usuthu, who are in ninth place, have conceded eight goals in five matches.
“You got to be on your toes all the time, and you got to stay focused for most of the time until it says 94 minutes, so you got to be on our toes.
“And that is something you cannot learn, it’s philosophy that is going to be embroidered in the team and it’s a culture that needs to be awaken as far as individual players are concerned.”
Usuthu face Chiefs at FNB Stadium tomorrow (18h00).
