Fadlu runs the rule over Nigerian striker

Maritzburg United have reportedly handed a trial to Nigerian striker Aladeon Kola.

According to Swazi reports, Kola left Swaziland on Monday to begin a week-long trial with the Team of Choice.

He was formely on the book of Mbabane Swallows.

The Times of Swaziland have indicated Kola is also on the wanted list of Tunisian side Club Africain and Young Africans of Tanzania.

Maritzburg recently signed Ivorian hitman Yannick Zakri and Keletso Makgalwa (loan) from Mamelodi Sundowns to provide competition to first-choice centre-forward Andrea Fileccia.

Fadlu Davids's men will look to pick up their first win of the season against log leaders Bidvest Wits at Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday night.
