The 2018 World Cup finalists Croatia open up their UEFA Nations League campaign tonight against Spain at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero - here are the confirmed line-ups of both sides.

Spain opened up their Nations League A campaign with an impressive 2-1 comeback victory over England over the weekend - while Croatia laboured to a 1-1 draw with European champions Portugal in a friendly fixture.

Under the guidance of new head coach Luis Enrique, La Roja have adopted a new tactical approach that saw Marcos Alonso, Saul and Iago Aspas all play a starring role against the Three Lions within a new-look starting XI.

Meanwhile, Zlatko Dalic offered fringe players Mateo Kovacic and Marko Pjaca opportunities to shine after their peripheral roles in their shock World Cup run.

Both players are expected to be key figures within the national team over the coming years.

The 2010 World Cup winners slightly edge Croatia in the head-to-head record with three wins from six outings, while there has been one draw.

Confirmed line-ups:

Spain: De Gea; Carvajal, Nacho, Ramos, Gaya; Ceballos, Busquets, Saul; Asensio, Rodrigo, Isco.

Croatia: Lovre Kalinic; Vrsaljko, Matej Mitrovic, Vida, Pivaric; Rakitic, Brozovic, Kovacic; Modric, Perisic, Santini.
