Confirmed XI's: Portugal v Italy

European champions Portugal host Italy tonight in their opening UEFA Nations League fixture - here are the confirmed line-ups of both sides.

Both sides come into the fixture with three-game winless runs and both succumbed to 1-1 draws over the weekend.

A new-look Portugal without captain Cristiano Ronaldo were held by World Cup finalists Croatia, while Italy laboured to a stalemate with Poland in their Nations League opener.

The lead up to the fixture was dominated by the fitness, or lack thereof, from Mario Balotelli, who was subsequently dropped from the side by manager Roberto Mancini today.

It will be the home side's first fixture in the newly formed competition tonight at the Estádio da Luz.

Portugal: Rui Patrício; Cancelo, Pepe, Rúben Dias, Mário Rui; Carvalho, Neves; Bernardo, Pizzi, Bruma; André Silva.

Italy: Donnarumma, Lazzari, Caldara, Romagnoli, Criscito, Cristante, Jorginho, Bonaventura, Zaza, Immobile, Chiesa.
