Bafana Bafana striker Bradley Grobler hopes to carry his fine scoring form for SuperSport United into today's African Nations Cup qualifier with Libya at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The 30-year-old is oozing confidence after netting all three goals in Matsatsantsa's 3-2 aggregate win over Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8 semi-finals.
Grobler also netted in Bafana's 2-0 win over AmaZulu in a training match at KwaMashu's Princess Magogo Stadium on Wednesday.
"Definitely I'd love to carry on with my goal scoring form," said Grobler, who has registered two goals in eight international appearances since making his goal-scoring debut against Zimbabwe in a friendly in 2011.
"For a striker it is always nice to score goals and get the first goal for the season.
"For me as a striker it's all about confidence and getting goals brings confidence. So I'm very confident and I can't wait for the game.
"It's been very good building up to this game. We've studied them well, we've got our formation set out and now we are waiting for the game to come. The team is very confident."
Bafana coach Stuart Baxter on Monday expressed the importance of having Grobler on hand to cash in on set-pieces against the Libyans, especially with the unavailability of France-based hitman Lebo Mothiba through injury.
Grobler likes his prospects of getting on the end of crosses against the Group E leaders in Durban.
"I think, from what we've seen, we've worked hard where they're weak. We worked hard where we can exploit their weaknesses," Grobler said.
"The crosses, we've seen they've conceded a lot of goals on crosses and I enjoy playing off crosses. But then again we've got other players that can head in for us.
"I think the main thing that comes to that is we've got guys that can cross the ball, and that can go a long way for us."
Kick-off of the game is at 15h00.
Libya thumped Seychelles 5-1 in their AFCON qualifying opener, while Bafana beat Nigeria 2-0 in Uyo.
