Bafana Bafana head coach Stuart Baxter has already suffered a withdrawal from the upcoming camp for the AFCON qualifier against Libya.

Withdrawals have become somewhat of a norm with the senior national team in recent camps, with next month's one proving no different.

Baxter will be in search of a replacement goalkeeper coach following the withdrawal of Andre Arendse, SAFA have confirmed.

The SuperSport United assistant coach has pulled out to attend to family matters, with Baxter bemoaning his sudden loss.

"It really is a sad loss to not to have the services of Andre, whom I have worked with for a long time," the Scottish tactician told the association's website.

"It is even more difficult not to have him at such a crucial time when we are resuming our AFCON qualifying campaign, but I have to understand his situation.

“We are going into camp on Sunday, which means we don’t have time, so I have the whole of Friday [today] to get a replacement, and it must be someone who I believe will do the job for our last line of defence.

"And as soon as I have a name, we will make an announcement.”

Baxter has already confirmed that national Under-17 coach Molefi Ntseki will assist him during this particular camp, while SAFA continue to finalise his permanent technical team.
