Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the departure of long-serving midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala, who is set to join Turkish side Erzurumspor.
Reports surfaced last week linking Tshabalala with a move to the Turkish Super Lig, with Erzurumspor coach Mehmet Altiparmak confirming negotiations.
The 33-year-old's absence from Chiefs' MTN8 semifinal clash against SuperSport United this past weekend fuelled speculation of his proposed exit, while coach Giovanni Solinas repeatedly refused to comment on the situation.
Amakhosi have since announced they have reached an agreement with the newly promoted Super Lig outfit over the services of their club captain.
