Highlands' dream start to their Premiership term continued after holding defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns to a goalless draw in Tshwane.

Veteran defender Sibande’s goal-line clearance will be fondly remembered after denying Wayne Arendse the chance at glory in the closing stages.

“Sundowns is a big team in the country. Coach [Owen da Gama] told us to enjoy ourselves and the game and not panic, and do what we do at training,” Sibande told SuperSport TV.

“The clearance. I think after we cleared the first ball, we slipped a little bit and they crossed it and I slipped at the back post and managed to clear it."
