Bidvest Wits have signed goalkeeper Ricardo Goss from Real Kings on a two-year deal with an option to renew.
He will compete for game-time with Darren Keet, fellow recruit Brighton Mhlongo and the inexperienced Sanele Tshabalala at the Absa Premiership leaders.
Goss played all 30 games for Simo Dladla's side last season as they finished fourth in the National First Division, falling just short of the play-offs after losing to Cape Town All Stars in their final match.
The 24-year-old's move to Kings came after he was released at the end of 2016/17 by Golden Arrows, having been promoted to their first team four years earlier.
"I have signed for Bidvest Wits. The deal was done on Wednesday," Goss tells KickOff.com.
"It's a big step for me but I'm willing to work hard and push as much as possible, and see where that takes me."
Goss, who was linked with a move to AmaZulu before they roped in Moeneeb Josephs from Wits, leaves Kings with fond memories and is grateful for the faith they showed in him.
"I appreciate a lot the investment they put in me. I thought they were very good to me. I never had a bad day at work because they were always there supporting me.
"I'm grateful and I appreciate everything they did for me."
Goss, who helped Arrows win the MultiChoice Diski Challenge in 2015/16, was part of the Amajita side that claimed a bronze medal at the 2015 CAF Youth Championship in Senegal and qualified for the Rio Olympics.
