Wits will go the Chiefs route

Kaizer Chiefs are not the only PSL giant that will overhaul their squad in the off-season, as outgoing champions Bidvest Wits get set to follow suit.
Chiefs are banking on Nedbank Cup glory to avoid a third straight season without silverware under embattled mentor Steve Komphela.
The Clever Boys have likewise promised to make wholesale changes as a poor league campaign for the outgoing champions draws to a close.
Wits won the Absa Premiership and MTN8 last term but have found the going much tougher in 2017/18.
While the Students added the Telkom Knockout to their collection in December, they are in danger of finishing outside of the top eight for the first time since 2011/12 when they placed 12th.
Wits currently find themselves in 10th place on the table following a 2-0 loss to log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in Tshwane on Saturday, with coach Gavin Hunt vowing to wield the axe.
"It was poor," said Hunt.
"Obviously we needed an overhaul. We didn't do it, we will do it now."
Hunt has warned his men they are playing for their careers in their final four league games of the season against Polokwane City, Orlando Pirates, AmaZulu and Platinum Stars.
"We need a positive response. People are playing for their careers. We need a positive response."
The Clever Boys have already secured the services of Cape Town City defender Robyn Johannes for next season, while they are reportedly lining up the signature of Swazi winger Banele Skhondze from Mbabane Swallows.
