Despite reports of Sundowns wishing to appeal the suspension, the PSL have confirmed Mosimane will have to sit out when they host Ea Lla Koto at Loftus Versfeld Stadium (19h30).

The former Bafana Bafana boss also missed their Nedbank Cup Last 32 meeting with Cape Town All Stars last weekend, which the Brazilians won 1-0.

Downs are top of the log, with 38 points from 20 games, but have seen their lead reduced to just four points by their nearest rivals Kaizer Chiefs.

Depending on the outcome against Stars tomorrow night, they could see their advantage restored to seven points or cut to just three points, with the Free State-based outfit moving to second spot.
