Zidane wants long-term Isco stay

Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has strongly denied influential playmaker Isco is set to leave the LaLiga giants at the end of the season.

Isco, 26, has often been subject to exit talk during his time with Los Blancos due to his lack of playing time with the European Champions.

But since the arrival of Zidane at the helm, the former Malaga man has become an integral part of Real's starting XI.

However, the Spain international has been touted for an off-season switch to Premier League giants Manchester United, which Zidane has blasted as pure speculation.

"I want Isco [in my team] and I want him to spend his whole life here," he told reporters, as quoted via Marca.

"It's a lie that I want Isco to be sold in the summer. Hopefully, we won't hear any more of this."

Isco has scored seven goals and registered six assists in 32 games across all competitions this season.
