Butler threatens taking Stars to FIFA

Former Platinum Stars coach Peter Butler is threatening to take Dikwena to FIFA as he awaits his settlement money from the club.

Stars terminated Butler's contract two games into the season and later replaced the Englishman with Roger de Sa.

However, Butler is still owed money from the Premiership strugglers.

"Mr Butler still yet to decide about the way forward. If the club is failing to pay, the solution is to take the matter to FIFA," says a well-placed source.

Stars spokesman Tebogo Mochadibane confirmed Butler must still be paid and is confident the matter will be resolved.

"The club acknowledges the fact that payment must be made to Mr Butler. It takes a process to pay such a settlement," says Mochadibane.

"The club will not run away from its obligation to pay what is due to Mr Butler."
