Divock Origi plans Liverpool return

Divock Origi admits he is enjoying his time in the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg but is targeting a return to Liverpool next season.

The Belgium international, who is currently preparing for Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Bosnia and Herzegovina, joined the German side on transfer deadline day this year after failing to break into the Reds first team.

Origi, though, is confident he can put in the performances needed to turn Reds coach Jurgen Klopp’s head and earn a place back in the Merseysiders’ squad.

"I feel I am growing since the new coach came," Origi told Sky Sports News.

"I feel good. I feel fit. I feel I am getting rhythm. I feel happy. I made a good choice."

Speaking of his 21 goals in two seasons at Anfield, Origi said: "I'm very proud of it. As a striker, you live on goals. It's always nice to score. Yes, I am proud."

He added: "Jurgen Klopp sent me a message wishing me luck. Now I am focusing on becoming a better player. I'm focusing on Wolfsburg this year."
