Henry: Martial can be 'world class'

Thierry Henry believes Anthony Martial can become one of the best players in the world, claiming the Manchester United forward is already better than he was at 21.

Henry is largely regarded as one of the most gifted footballers to have graced the world stage, having scored 254 goals during an eight-year stay with Arsenal where he was part of the 2003/04 ’Invincibles’ team.

And, the former Juventus and Barcelona forward believes Red Devils winger Martial is destined for even bigger things, saying: “Anthony Martial is a far better player than I was at that age.

“He can become a world-class player.”

Martial will be hoping to overcome the thigh injury which has kept him out of France’s upcoming 2018 World Cup qualifiers, although he could be back when Manchester United head to Anfield to face Liverpool after the international break.
