Chiefs enter the annual friendly - which forms part of the Mangaung African Cultural Festival - on the back of a 2-1 loss to Baroka at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban this past weekend.

After the FIFA break, Steve Komphela's men face Mamelodi Sundowns and Soweto rivals Orlando Pirates consecutively on October 17 and 21 as they seek to rise from sixth spot on the table after seven rounds of fixtures.

“This match will give our technical team a chance to rectify the mistakes we made in our last PSL fixture,” Motaung told the club's website.

“It is also the FIFA break and we want to keep our match fitness in preparation for the upcoming tight fixture schedule.”

Motaung added: “All in all it’s about our community engagement through arts and culture.

“We look forward to the match and it’s all systems go on our side. We just wish the entire festival success and for the people to enjoy peacefully. Drive safe as 'Arrive Alive' must be the order of the day.”

Komphela's charges will take on Celtic at Free State Stadium on Sunday, with kick-off set for 15h00.

The Glamour Boys won last season's Macufe Cup with a 4-1 win over Phunya Sele Sele.

Both clubs have nine points in the Premiership, with Siwelele boasting a game in hand and in good spirits after a 1-0 win over misfiring champions Bidvest Wits in their previous test.
