Chippa meet to discuss Malesela future

Posted: 13 September 2017 Time: 01:58 pm has learnt that Chippa United's management are set to meet today to decide the future of coach Dan 'Dance' Malesela.

According to a source at United, Malesela could part ways with the club this week.

"It doesn't look good," says the informant.

"Dan Dance and the club management are set for a crisis meeting today. His future doesn't look good."

The Chilli Boys lost 3-1 at home to Baroka last night, having beat AmaZulu 2-0 in Port Elizabeth and lost 1-0 at Orlando Pirates in their first two games of the campaign.

Malesela was forced out of the technical team last season when he was placed on 'special leave' following a poor run of results. However, he was brought back by club owner Siviwe Mpengesi towards the end of 2016/17 as the side narrowly survived relegation.
