KickOff.com can reveal that Platinum Stars have appointed Milton Dlamini as the new assistant coach.

Dlamini will be second in charge to new head coach Peter Butler, after Stars yesterday confirmed the departure of Willem Jackson.

This website has been informed that Dlamini has already signed his contract and been introduced to the head coach and the rest of the staff at the club.

Dlamini was most recently working as a co-coach at Baroka, until his suspension during the their Promotion Play-Off campaign.

Though the Limpopo-based club have indicated that he was due to appear before a club disciplinary hearing, he eventually did not and walked away without any charges upon the expiry of his contract at the end of June.

Dlamini had only been working at Baroka since the beginning of March, sharing responsibilities on the bench with Kgoloko Thobejane in 13 games across all competitions.

Prior to joining Bakgaga, Dlamini had been an assistant at First Division club Mbombela United.
