Bloemfontein Celtic have confirmed that Lehlohonolo Seema will serve as an assistant to new head coach Luc Eymael, while John Maduka has returned to his position as team manager.

Celtic yesterday appointed Eymael on a two-and-a-half year contract, a day after he resigned from Polokwane City.

Seema and Maduka were previously coaching the side in an interim capacity following the firing in October of Serame Letsoaka, who has since taken charge of neighbouring Free State Stars.

"Seema will remain as assistant coach. John will go back to his position as manager," Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco tells KickOff.com.

Phunya Sele Sele, a point above the drop zone after 19 games, today face Buya Msuthu in their Nedbank Cup opener in Rustenburg.
