Arrows sign Nigerian midfielder

KickOff.com can reveal that Golden Arrows have acquired the services of Nigerian midfielder David Ifeanyi Nworah from Moroccan side Olympic Safi.

The 21-year-old central midfielder is a former Nigerian youth international, having representing the Golden Eagles at under-17 level in 2011, while turning out for Glo Premier League side Gabros FC.

Nworah joined Olympic Safi in Morocco in 2012, where he started out playing with the reserve team and managed five goals in his first season.

He made his senior debut for Safi in 2014, when the team was third from bottom on the log, but established himself in the centre of the park to help them avoid relegation.

Arrows have been one of the busiest club in this transfer window, and Nworah will now add to the long list of new signings the club have snapped up thus far.
