Carling Black Label Cup starting XIs

Posted: 27 May 2014 Time: 05:02 pm

The Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates starting lineups for the 2014 Carling Black Label Cup as they currently stand have been released.

Chiefs and Pirates supporters have cast over 5.3million votes for their fan-selected line-ups ahead of the showpiece fixture at FNB Stadium on July 26.

Voting for fans this year has also been made more easily accessible, as they can now go to www.carlingblacklabel.co.za and put together their strongest starting XIs.

Fans can still vote for their starting lineups until 22 July 2014 by purchasing a Carling Black Label beer and either dialing *120*764* or going to the website mentioned above. They must then enter their unique code found on the underside of the bottle cap or can pull ring and the # sign (with no spaces in between), and can then choose the team they would like to manage, and the players they would like to see start.

The Carling Black initiative also comes with an experience of a lifetime for two lucky fans; one representing Kaizer Chiefs and the other Orlando Pirates. The two 'consumer coaches' will be selected to be coaches of their respective teams on game-day and get to be with their teams at training, sit in the pre-match briefing and be part of the dugout with their favourite team.

In order to be eligible for this competition, Champion Coaches must vote either via their cellphone or at www.carlingblacklabel.co.za a minimum of 11 times. Fans can further join the Coaches Forum to take their coaching credentials to the next level with exclusive interviews and content, improved player stats and a chance to win a share of R3-million airtime or tickets to the game.

PSL please eradicate this competition and bring back the Telkom Charity Cup, cause this trophy doesn't allow us to vote because we are under age and promotes consumption of alcohol.

cups for alcoholics, i have to change my lifestyle because of this stupid cup because in order to vote u have to buy beer,so not all pirates or kaizer chiefs suppoters drink beer,so this cup was introduced to benefit the sponsers and the owners of the teams but at the same time destroying the futures of our youth who love football.

They ditched a tournament/cup that benefitted charities for a cup that "encourages" boozing. #Talk about moral decay

Telkom charity cup...way better.

Shubaba and toothless are monopolizing SA soccer, Motsepe must just continue being involved into our soccer until these 2 are powerless and irrelevant.

How can you replace a tourney that accommodates all teams and with this rubbish match...mxm
