'Killer' happy with Chiefs debut

Kaizer Chiefs marksman Katlego Mphela tells KickOff.com he is pleased with how things went during his debut match against Maritzburg United on Tuesday night.

Defender Tefu Mashamaite rescued a point for the Glamour Boys as the two teams played to a 2-2 draw at Harry Gwala Stadium, while 'Killer' could have won the game for the log leaders towards the end but missed the target when he should have done better.
However, Mphela is still satisfied after playing his first match for the club he says he grew up supporting.
“It was great. Chiefs is a big club and it was an awesome feeling playing in front of that big crowd. It won’t take me long to settle into the team, because I know some of the guys from the national team,” he says.
“As for the chance I got, my sharpness [or lack thereof] was a big factor there. If I was sharp, that one could have gone in because I have scored most of my goals from that position.
“To be honest, my debut went quite okay, as I expected,” he adds.

NATURENABOY True. Yeye used to be good with those passes but something is just not going right this season. Shabba can get those passes right as well. So they just need to practice them during training

Makhosi amahle, here is something that our enemies will not like to hear.

Last season we won the league with 57 points.

This season we are already sitting at 40 with 12 matches (36points) still to play. Now from this position even the most hopeless of dunderheads will know that this title is for us to lose.

20 points will do it for us for sure though at the rate we are going we are capable of getting 30 of the points on offer.

Now haters read this and weep dimpya ke lona
