Madubanya fell out with Rosslee earlier this season, resulting in a hostile relationship between the two.
The 29-year-old midfielder has since stopped training with the club and has returned home to Johannesburg, and is looking for another club to join in January.
The club has confirmed that Madubanya has been granted permission to stop training with the club.
Madubanya joined Usuthu at the beginning of the season on a three-year deal from Bloemfontein Celtic, and was initially apponted vice-captain, before the ugly incident with Rosselee.
KickOff.com has already gathered that Platinum Stars could possibly be his next destination, although Polokwane City have also made enquiries.
“I’m still contracted but I decided that I’m going to be with family,” Madubanya tells KickOff.com.
“We will see in January what happened with AmaZulu and all I can say now is that I have three-year contract with them and that’s all I can say about the situation.”
