Bidvest Wits coach Clive Barker is relishing the partnership of midfielders Sibusiso Vilakazi and Papy Faty ahead of the resumption of the League.
The Clever Boys will meet Black Leopards in Polokwane next Wednesday and could be sporting a new dimension in the middle of the park to that used by previous coach Antonio Habas.
Barker, who took over in early January, has had a sort of mid-season ‘pre-season' of six weeks due to the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
His side have been heavily involved in training matches against fellow PSL sides and most notably Afcon qualifiers Morocco.

Speaking after Monday's training match with SuperSport United, Barker could not reserve his praise for Vilakazi and Burundian international Faty.
"The control in the middle between Vilakazi and Faty has been magnificent. It has become a mixture. I can't believe how good the application has been," the former Bafana Bafana coach said.
"I know people say that practice matches count for nothing. The nicest part has been the sort of control we have had in these practice matches.
"The main thing now is to get the ball over the goal line and get the points when the League re-starts."
