Jomo Cosmos have confirmed the acquisition of Orlando Pirates defender Mbongeni Gumede.

The 19-year-old joins Ezenkosi in the First Division on loan for the rest of the season.

Gumede has captained the Under-20 national team, and spent his debut professional season, 2011/12, on loan at Sivutsa Stars in the First Division.

Bucs recalled him this season, but he has not had any game-time.
