Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse, as well as Abia Nale’s move to Ajax Cape Town.
Nale has moved to Ajax on a loan deal until the end of the 2012/13 season.
According to Chiefs' website the two clubs and the player agreed the terms of the loan yesterday (Wednesday).
“‘Soul Provider’ as he is known made a request to the club to be given an opportunity to go and gain game time elsewhere until the end of the season.
“The Sebokeng-born player has not been able to command a regular place in the team this season,” Amakhosi confirm on their website.
Chiefs tweeted earlier today: “Breaking News! Kaizer Chiefs would like to confirm the signing of 2 Players. We welcome them into the Amakhosi Family!”
The club has now announced one of those signings as 20-year-old goalkeeper Pieterse, a graduate the Bidvest Wits Academy, and finalist in the Nike Chance talent competition.
The youngster won a one-year contract with leading Irish club Shamrock Rovers in February 2012, and then spent some time at Belgian Pro League club KAA Gent, but owing to technical team changes the deal fell through.
