Platinum Stars midfielder Thuso Phala, who has been linked with a move back to Kaizer Chiefs, will only decide his future after the Africa Cup of Nations.
The in-form Phala, who has been included in Gordon Igesund’s 23-man Afcon squad, has a contract with Dikwena until June 2013.
Phala's manager, Tim Sukazi of Quality Sports Management, denies reports that his client has been talking to Amakhosi with a view of returning to Naturena this year.
“We have not spoken to Kaizer Chiefs regarding Thuso Phala,” Sukazi insists.
“The only team that spoken to us regarding Phala is Platinum Stars and we did that towards the end of December.
“At this moment we want to give the player a chance to focus on the Afcon with Bafana Bafana and will entertain talks regarding his future after the end of the tournament.”
Dikwena managing director Floyd Mbele has confirmed to KickOff.com that his team want to retain Phala when his contract with the club expires at the end of the season.
