Kaizer Chiefs are set to lose Mulomowandau Mathoho for a few weeks after he dislocated his shoulder in the match against Maritzburg United on Friday.
According to sources close to the club and the player the injury is not too serious, although he has an appointment with the Amakhosi medical staff today to determine the extent of it.
"Yes, it's true, Mathoho dislocated his shoulder. His injury is set to be further assessed by the Kaizer Chiefs medical team but I have to say it doesn't look to be a very serious injury," our source says.
Mathoho joins Chiefs' ever-growing casualty list, including Morgan Gould, Siboniso Gaxa, Jimmy Jambo and Siphiwe Tshabalala, who missed the last game against United after suffering a knock in the Telkom Knockout against Bidvest Wits recently.
