There could be no separating Malawi and Mauritius as the sides claimed their first point each of the 2017 COSAFA Castle Cup following Tuesday's 0-0 draw.
The Malawians created the first chance of the game in the early minutes as Mician Mhone’s effort brought a fine save from Kevin Jean-Louis.
The hosts continued asking most of the early questions as Bokosi and Jabulani Linje also forced the goalkeeper into making stops with half-an-hour gone.
Mauritius managed to forge a chance or two of their own in the closing stages of the first-half but Saramandif and Edouard failed to find the target.
Saramandif had a chance to make amends after the break but headed a decent chance wide, while at the other end, Bokosi brought a save from the visiting keeper, who was now enduring a busy afternoon.
However, there was to be no way through for either side as the teams eventually settled for a share of the spoils.
