VLADIMIR VERMEZOVIC APOLOGISE SORRY KAIZER CHIEFS

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Vladimir Vermezovic has officially apologised to the football fraternity for storming into the field to confront a referee in a recent match.

The Serbian stormed into the field in an “aggressive and menacing manner charging towards the referee” in a match against Mpumalanga Black Aces on February 24 and had to be restrained by his own players, an action the PSL says it brought the League into disrepute.

Vermezovic reacted angrily to referee Buyile Gqubule when the latter blew the whistle for halftime with Chiefs winger George Lebese one-on-one with Black Aces keeper Oscar Ramogoadi. He was found guilty and fined R50 000 wholly suspended for 12 months ,and was also handed a one-match ban and ordered to pay the cost of the sitting amounting to approximately R21 000.

Chatting to KickOff.com in Naturena today, Vermezovic took the opportunity to apologise for the incident.

“I knew I was wrong to do that,” says Vermezovic of the incident. “I would like to use this opportunity to apologise to all the supporters of Kaizer Chiefs, especially the children because of my picture on TV (that they saw). I apologise to all who were affected,” he says.

Vermezovic will sit on the stands for the Telkom Knockout last 16 match against Santos on Sunday at the Newlands Stadium.

Uzonya this VV guys, this is Mzansi!! I wonder what does Sis Pearl mean by saying their house is in order when their coach just got punished for ill discipline. The other guy even says that VV is the first coach to apologise, he overlooks the fact that none of the other PSL coaches have been so foolish. Jeff Butler also stormed into the pitch in the early 90's, i hope some of your chips idiots in this forum were there. By the way isn't interesting that only chips coaches have been in headlines for wrong reasons Pearl?

Nosi and Wonder you are boring. You havent made one tangible input to this log very since. Wonder you are very pathetic when Sundowns is lambasted yet energetic when commenting about Chiefs, with the same lousy uncreative rhetoric. You r worrying...but yet typical Sundowns babies' from Sundowns.
