Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira has named his squad to meet Belo Horizonte giants Cruzeiro at the Mineirão Stadium later today.

According the Brazilian media, the South African team for the match that will be televised nationally in Brazil by Globo International TV is: Itumeleng Khune; Siboniso Gaxa, Bongani Khumalo, Siyabonga Sangweni, Innocent Mdledle; Lance Davids, Thanduyise Khuboni, Teko Modise, Siphiwe Tshabalala; Thulasizwe Mbuyane; Katlego Mphela.

Coach Adilson Batista has named Fábio, Jonathan, Leonardo Silva, Caçapa, Diego Renan; Henrique, Marquinhos Paraná, Pedro Ken e Roger; Kléber and Thiago Ribeiro for the club.

According to the club, arrangements have been made for those South African players who do not feature today to play against Cruzeiro’s reserve side tomorrow.

Today’s match against Bafana Bafana will end a drought of 27 years since Cruzeiro last played against a country’s national team. They last played against Honduras in 1983.

Smallicious me-auti please dont make a fool of yourself, how is possible that you draft a list of players that will be sent home while you have never even sean a single match B/B played in brazil, thanks to our brilliant SABC thats funded from our TAX MONEY, you never even saw a clip of them training in Brasil. Pereira is not a fool like you, he chose each player for reason & he will use these matches to asses which player is capeble of being more relevent to his system. You chiefs fans are disgusting sometimes, even in times like this you still separate yourself from everyone. CHIEFS is a product of SA football, not the otherway arround, so you must learn to be a bit more honoureble to SA football & stop critising every player that isnot from chiefs. Let the technical team do what we pay them millions to do.
