Arrows are still looking for their first point in the New Year after being beaten by AmaZulu and Maritzburg United and now face Kaizer Chiefs against whom they do have a good record. This could prove a nightmare for Mngqithi and his charges.
Mngqithi says they have rectified their mistakes that they committed in their past two games and aim to get three points today to repair their dented image.
"We having been playing well but have been let down by some elementary mistakes and our failure to score. We have been working hard at training to rectify these and I am positive of a good result this evening.
"I haven’t finalised tonight’s team but there will definitely be some changes."
Mngqithi says they have no suspensions and Musa Bilankulu and Philani Shange are the only two players that are not available due to injuries.
Meanwhile Kaizer Chiefs are set to welcome back their goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune after serving his red card suspension picked up during the match against AmaZulu in December last year.
Speaking to the Amakhosi website, Khune said he has put behind him the disappointment of the red card and is focusing on the game against Arrows.
"I will do my best if I am selected and will continue to support Arthur Bartman if he starts ahead of me," says Khune. |
