Nasief Morris is still in Cape Town and KickOff.com can reveal that he is in dispute with La Liga club Racing Santander.
"The information we are getting from our legal advisor in Spain suggests the club has experienced some tax related problem," confirms Pashalis Tountouris, the Director of Prosport International's Greek office.
"This is stopping them providing foreigners with work permits under the rules and regulations of the Spanish government," Tountouris says.
Prosport International, who represent Morris, says the player is not taking this issue lying down.
"We are investigating the issue and will take all the proper actions in order to protect our client, Morris, and to claim for any damage."
What does this mean for Morris' World Cup hopes with Bafana Bafana?
"Why not take Morris on the training camp in Brazil," Tountouris asks.
"Until late last year Morris was a starter in each game and everyone was very excited about him. So he cannot afford to miss action now."
The ex-Panathinaikos captain, who has played 30 Uefa Champions League matches, could well find himself in camp next month.
Carlos Alberto Parreira was in Europe last week negotiating with clubs for the release of certain Bafana players he has targeted for the two camps.

If kickoff can cheerlead Nassief back into BB like they did with Benni I will be pleased.

Only a moemish who thinks local (Teko) is lekker will dispute the fact that Morris is our best defender. Love him or hate him! he is sorely needed in the Bafana defence. Booth and Mbazo together does not equal his ability!
