Takesure Chinyama scores four for Orlando Pirates

Takesure Chinyama netted four goals as Orlando Pirates thumped Djabal 5-0 in their CAF Champions League preliminary round tie at Orlando Stadium.

The Buccaneers, knocked out of the competition at the same stage last year, made certain of no repeat against the side from Comoros.

Despite the hefty scoreline, the visitors were unlucky not to take the lead when a free-kick looked to have crossed the line.

It got worse when their goalkeeper had to be stretched off in the first half, meaning an outfield player had to fill the breach.

The problem showed as Sifiso Myeni struck home from the edge of the area, before Chinyama tapped home on 30 minutes from Patrick Phungwayo’s cross.

The Zimbabwean had the ball in the back of the net again just before the break, but it ruled out for offside.

There was to be no repeat on 55 minutes when Chinyama buried Daine Klate’s header to make the score 3-0, and 10 minutes later he had his hat-trick when he tapped home after Thabo Matlaba’s shot had hit the woodwork.

Twenty minutes from time it was 5-0 as Ndumiso Mabena set up Chinyama for his fourth and a fifth for Bucs, all but securing their place in the next round.

Aaaaaaaahhhhhh My Beloved Bakhaniyas.... Once again, one of the Seven Wonders of The World, Orlando Stadium, was extraordinary...! We can wake up the dead with the way we sing...
***********************************************
Orlando Stadium is our cathedral. It's a place where we The Ghost gather to worship - our sacroscant. We kept on singing Asoze Sa Phela Amandla!

They say when we Madristas pray at night we always include La Decima in our prayers - the tenth Champions League trophy. This is true. Another truth is that I always pray for our second star because there is no achievement that gets me going as that.

The first time I watched Pirates live was in 1995 in a Champions League game. To this day I still remember that day quite vividly. Maybe this is why I want this trophy so bad! Oh by the way, according to my permutations, we might have to face TP Mazembe on the last round before the group stages! That is going to be one hell of an obstacle!

By the way my champ that Ethiopian mission was sealed with flying colors. I never thought I would ever imbibe the scent of an Ethiopian beauty and enter her wonder but I did. Unfortunately it can't be a long term thing because she actually lives in Seattle. She wanted us to try and make it work but hai I it did not make sense. The time zones make it impossible to have a relationship wit her never mind the distance.

But not to despair my champ cause I found myself a Nigerian princess at Soccer City. She is equally beautiful and amazing. How refreshing to have a woman in your life that actually has a hairline. I just love women from other countries. They just have this mystery about them. It's like you come from two completely different worlds and when you get together you just wanna unwrap each other.

Yes we won but im not happy wit our subs...they were all poor especially bester, okonkonko needs to up his game so tht we can destroy teams, our players are selfish buccaneers and Matlaba made poor decisions but his crosses were on point. Klate is on another level and the king pin is the best...we can only get better.
I think carpet football suits us better but then every game have its game plan and it depends on the opponents weakness

Kaizer Djabal are so confused today, they don't know whether they must celebrate their win or whether to woof woof our win, they know deep inside that they are occupying the Champs seat. I like the way u deal with ur stress.
Only a best team can score 6, small teams and weak teams only score 5 against a team that uses a DEFENDER as their keeper, while the Parkerising machine rain goals against Zimbabwe's number 1.

Played against a bunch of amateurs and really should have more goals. Okonkwo has been causing turmoil in the dressing because he wasn't given a chance to play, finally given a chance and he gives us this rubbish. Ntshumayelo should definitely be back for P.Stars. Linesmen had about 10 offside dicisions wrong each and therefore denied us more goals. For the second leg, our starting 11 must not even travel to Comoros and we should game time to the likes of Masalesa, Mayambela, Moholo and many others.

The trebble is still on Mabhakaniya
