Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic draw 0-0

Bloemfontein Celtic and Kaizer Chiefs played to a goalless draw in their Absa Premiership match at Seisa Ramabodu on Saturday evening.
A point apiece was a fair result from a game that saw each side dominate a half – neither was able to capitalise on their dominance, despite creating some decent opportunities.
Apart from an early long-range effort by winger Phenyo Mongala that forced Itumeleng Khune into a smart save, Phunya Sele Sele hardly threatened in an attacking sense in the first 45 minutes.
Instead, it was Chiefs who enjoyed the majority of possession and they duly created a handful of chances; the best of which fell to defender Tefu Mashamaite. He got on the end of a Siphiwe Tshabalala cross from a short corner kick, but his downward header bounced into the ground and looped over the crossbar.
The home team were better after the break and began to force Amakhosi onto the back foot. Their best opportunity arrived eight minutes after the restart when Mongala got behind the defence, but opted to cut the ball back rather than shoot – Clifford Mulenga put his shot wide of the target.
From that point the game was open and both teams created further half chances. Though it remained goalless all the way to full-time, there was always the sense that a goal was just around the corner.
The result sees Chiefs move back to the top of the standings – temporarily at least. They top the log on goal-difference from Ajax Cape Town, though they could be knocked off pole position by Mamelodi Sundowns and/or SuperSport United in what remains of the weekend.

Look dude i aint getin yo point i mean beside doz ppl u mentiond we still have Kaizer JNR who i view as a target man, that shud make him a direct sub 4 Ngcobo,i always log on 2 de team website i dnt remember readin any whr abt Juniour nt bein fit or injured,so guy dnt make me accept mediocurity just cos i love Chiefs im not that kind of a supporter, the whole team is not fit and we play kak, truth hurts.
However, VV can stay until end of the season, to change VV will destroy Chiefs and will make our enemies happy. I think Clinton L@rsen should be our coach next season if He agrees, but knowing fat cake, he will go overseas and get an under achiever clueless coach.
All in all it was a good thing we got out with a point than nothing
Thats why they think they are cup specialists without knowing its not about how many cups but its about which cups. Football 101 was mastered by Orlando Pirates.
