67' - CHANCE! It's that man Aboubakar again! Takes it first time, but it's way off target! Cameroon with a good spell now.

65' - Aboubakar again! His shot blocked this time. Cameroon's number 10 looking lively, and definitely not giving up just yet.

60' - GOAL! Bayern Munich's Mario Mandukic heads home from the second corner! It's going to be a long 30 minutes now for Cameroon...

59' - Wave after wave of Croatian attacks now. Olic hits the side-netting, followed by two successive Croatian corners.

58' - Perisic chopped down at the edge of the D by Nounkeu. Srna's resulting free-kick is up and over the top by Croatia's third-highest ever goal-scorer.

49' - CLOSE! Mandzukic slipped through down the middle, one-one with the keeper, but he shoots narrowly wide under pressure from the Cameroonian defense.

47' - GOAL! Perisic with a strong run down the left, which he finishes in fine style. Cameroon with a mountain to climb now.

46' - And we're off!

A change for the Indomitable Lions at the break as Nounkeu replaces Chedjou. Cameroon have 45 minutes to save their World Cup dream.

Half-Time

And the first 45 minutes have come and gone! Olic's 10th minute strike separates the two sides.

45' - Moukandjo breaks, pushes forward at pace, yet Aboubakar shoots over the crossbar. Cameroon's best moment of the half.

44' - Cameroon still trying to find the leveller, passing it well around the edge of the box, but fail to get a clean shot on goal.

40' - RED CARD! Alex Song inexplicably punches out at Mandukic off the ball as Croatia started a counter attack! The Barca man's World Cup could be over, as well as his entire team's campaign, as they are now both a goal and man down.

38' - Srna with a long shot, but it rolls easily in the arms of Cameroon keeper Itandje.

31' - Croatia's freekick is floated in by new Barca boy Rakitic, Mandzukic at full stretch, but he is off-side.

28' - Croatia just playing keep-ball as they try build up from the back.

26' - Olic in behind the Cameroonian defense, but his ambitious shot balloons over the opposition goal.

23' - Corner for Cameroon, which is over-cooked.

19' - Cameroon with a better spell, yet are reduced to a Alex Song strike from outside the box which is easily blocked.

16' - CHANCE! Cameroon looking shaky at the back, as they clear Olic's goal-bound effort off the line from a corner. Another corner for Croatia, as Rakitic tries his luck, but it's easy for keeper to Itandje to gather.

13' - Mandzukic strikes from distance but it's well over the bar. Croatia signalling their intent, doesn't look like they are going to sit on their advantage.

10' - GOAL! Olic finishes from close range after Perisic slips it through on a silver platter! Cameroon 0-1 Croatia

9' - Olic and Mandzukic, in his first game in Brazil after being suspended for Croatia's opener, are looking lively upfront for the Europeans.

5' - Eto'o's replacement Vincent Aboubakar with a bustling run down the right, wins a free-kick just outside the 18-yard area. Perisic hoofs it clear.

4' - First corner to Cameroon. Cleared off the line, yet the referee blows for foul play in the box.

3' - Cameroon with a free-kick down the right touchline. Easily dealt with by Croatia. The Indomitable Lions were the first African team to reach the quarterfinals at a World Cup, but have only one World Cup win since then. They'll need to better their record tonight.

1' - We're underway in the Amazon city of Manaus! Lots at stake as the loser will be knocked out of the tournament.

Both teams head into this match looking for their first points of the tournament after losing their opening fixtures.

Croatia succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Brazil in the competition's curtain-raiser, while Cameroon were beaten 1-0 by Mexico.

The Indomitable Lions are looking to be just the second African nation to pick up maximum points in Brazil, but will have to do so without star striker and captain Samuel Eto'o who is sidelined due to a recurring knee injury.

The team line-ups have been announced:

Cameroon XI: Itandje, Assou-Ekotto, Nkoulou (c), Song, Moukandjo, Aboubakar, Choupo Moting, Chedjou, Mbia, Enoh, Matip

Croatia XI: Pletikosa, Pranjic, Perisic, Corluka, Lovren, Rakitic, Modric, Srna (c), Mandzukic, Olic, Sammir

I hope now some ppl will believe me on what I said about these Dominated Lions. They lack discipline in every sense of the word. Assou Ekoto as an experienced player shouldn't have headbutted his teammate. That's a youngster. Izintwana zamanje they don't listen vele mazitshelwa so all he could hv done was to talk to the youngster and if ingezwa ayshiye phansi. Samuel Eto'o is also rumoured to hv come nearly to blows with Alex Song. Cameroon team need wholesale changes
