Ajax squeeze past unknowns

Ajax Cape Town beat ANSE Reunion of Seychelles at the Athlone Stadium in a CAF Confederation Cup encounter on Sunday afternoon.

The only goal of the first leg game was scored by Granwald Scott in the 16th minute.

Mkhanyiseli Siwahla sent in a good corner-kick, finding Nathan Paulse who, although marked, managed to flick the ball on for an unmarked Scott to head home.

Ajax dominated the match and should have won by a greater margin, but seemed over-excited and many of their chances where sent wide or straight at the keeper.
