Match report: Chippa United steal a draw against SuperSport United

Kermit Erasmus bagged a brace for SuperSport United on Tuesday evening, but Chippa United stole a draw at the death.
Early play was tentative as neither side managed to make much headway in attack, barring a sixth minute header from Andile Mbenyane that went over the bar.
While the Chilli Boys played some neat football, SuperSport's more direct style meant they were the more threatening team.
The home side would have been hoping for a positive start to settle their nerves in their first match under caretaker coach Farouk Abrahams, but it was not to be as half an hour in Erasmus fired home from close range, after some good work by Mabhuti Khenyeza, who put in a cross from the right.
The Pretoria team only remained in front for five minutes, however, as the Chilli Boys struck back through Welcome Qalanto, who scored as a result of some indecisive goalkeeping from Ronwen Williams.
The game remained evenly balanced until the half-time break.
Matsatsantsa restored their lead 15 minutes into the second half when George Maluleka played in a cross that was headed home by Erasmus.
Then, with 20 minutes to go, Chippa's task got that much more difficult when Buyani Sali was sent off for a second yellow card.
But the Cape side refused to give up the game, and after Erasmus had wasted a great chance, Qalanto ensured a point when he fired home from close range after Mbenyane's low ball into the box.
