Aubrey Ngoma of Tuks bagged four goals

Ajax self-destruct against Tuks

Match report: University of Pretoria thrash Ajax Cape Town

Posted: 29 September 2012 Time: 04:12 pm

Ajax Cape Town suffered their fourth defeat of the season when they were demolished 5-1 by University of Pretoria, who are unbeaten, thanks to four goals by Aubrey Ngoma.

For the hosts there was one change to the side that lost against Orlando Pirates in midweek, with Maarten Stekelenburg opting to bring in Lebogang Manyama on the left in place of Paul Rusike.

Following a cagey few opening minutes to the game, Mame Niang took the first shot at goal, 15 minutes in, when he rose above the towering Matthew Booth to head at goal, but Sander Westerveld saved well.

Koen van de Laak went close as well, before an unmarked Manyama half-volleyed the opening goal into the back of the net following good work by Khama Billiat.

Tuks drew level when Ngoma struck a high ball which flew over Westerveld to hit the top right corner of the goal three minutes from the break.

Ajax came out of the break in a positive fashion and they nearly took the lead again when Billiat's low shot angled past the far post 48 minutes in.

But it was Tuks who took the lead when Niang's shot rattled the net 74 minutes in.

The Urban Warriors found themselves another goal behind when Ngoma struck a brace to make it 3-1 as he headed the ball over Westerveld, whose confidence was noticeably starting to drop.

The Ajax fans started to get rowdy, singing 'You must go' to the Dutch coach as Tuks made it 4-1.

Ngoma continued to run in front of goal and completed his hat-trick with a clip into the bottom right corner three minutes from the full-time whistle.

Finally, Ngoma made it five for the visitors after he ran free from the Ajax backline and slotted confidently past Westerveld.

How they regret loaning this fellow gorilla to Tuks. He's scored mo goals in a single match than all their deadwood strikers combined.

# Ntsipane- Maphanga Parker is also not making noise, but unlike Siya Ngoma, Bernad Parker have some 36 million South Africans (2thirds of the population) backing him. Until then you hear no noise until you visit his hometown @ Hammanskral. Its only there that you will hear some noise.

Silly to be a Chiefs supporter. So obsessed about Pirates. This is about AmaTuks, and Aubrey plays for them albeit on loan. Whether he is better than current Pirates strikers is immaterial.

If Ngome is Makakaniya byproduct, so all 4 goals he scored today do they count in favour of Rats?

Poor Amakakaniya they force themselves in anyway, desperation is killing them softly.

Some pathetic medium sized team, made a whole lot of noise after beating a hapless ajax & we told them that they beat an already beaten team, but they said we are full of crap, now look?! Does this result mean Tuks is far better than the very same team that went 450 minutes, without a goal in open play & then conceded 6 goals in 2 consecutive matches??!!

Mxm, some gorillas should think before they speak about the mighty Kaizer Chiefs... Fact: KC 2 - 0 Chilli boys!
So we still on top, haters can go play in traffic!!

Khosi till Chiefs play for 450 minutes without a goal in open play!!

Reclaiming The Glory... Takes more than 90 minutes!
