Bidvest Wits and Black Leopards played to a 2-2 draw on Wednesday night.
The match at Bidvest Stadium started at a slow pace, but Leopards opened the scoring on 16 minutes through Nkosiyabo Xakane, who unleashed a long-range shot which beat Steven Hoffman.
However, if Lidoda Duvha thought they would go into the break with the lead they were very much mistaken.
Six minutes from half-time the Students equalised when Calvin Kadi poked home, after Mbulelo 'OJ' Mabizela won the initial header.
And the Clever Boys were not finished. On the stroke of half-time they grabbed the lead when Bryce Moon broke down the right and delivered a ball into the box which was met by Ryan Chapman, who powered home a header.
Leopards came out guns blazing after the break – and they did not wait long for results, as striker Rodney Ramagalela got the goal on 58 minutes.
Both sides tried to find the winning goal in the remaining time, but it was not to be.
It is the Clever Boys' first point of the season after they lost their opening League match, while Lidoda Duvha now have four points from two matches.
