Three late goals handed Moroka Swallows a 3-1 League win against Ajax Cape Town at Dobsonvile Stadium on Wednesday night.
It was a positive start for both teams, with Terror Fanteni taking the first pot-shot at goal on 16 minutes, but Greg Etafia was equal to the task.
After that there was little in the way of goalmouth action, and the two sides went into the break deadlocked.
Bradley Grobler was introduced in place of Fanteni after an hour, while Keagan Dolly came on for Khama Billiat as Maarten Stekelenburg opted for a change in formation.
The change proved a master-stroke as the Urban Warriors broke the deadlock when Lebogang Manyama swung the ball into the top right corner of the net.
But Ajax’s lead was short lived, and the Dube Birds capitalised on a set-piece and Katlego Mashego made no mistake.
That equaliser boosted Swallows and they managed to pull another one out of the hat when Nomvete headed home a cross by Joseph Makhanya two minutes from full-time.
'Bhele' got a second five minutes later, ensuring the three points for the home side.
