AmaZulu held to 0-0 by Jomo Cosmos

Posted: 9 May 2012 Time: 21:22

AmaZulu were held to a 0-0 draw by Jomo Cosmos on Wednesday evening.

The point leaves AmaZulu eighth, but Cosmos remain bottom on 17 points with three games remaining.

Jomo Sono's men could conceivably catch either Santos or Black Leopards, if they win their final matches and the other results go in their favour.

Cosmos had two half-chances early on, when Alois Ngwerume hit a tame shot wide, and Katlego Loke almost scored from a corner-kick, which Tapuwa Kapini had to acrobatically flick wide.

Dumisani Zwane missed the best chance for AmaZulu when his shot was saved by Avril Phali.

The visitors' best chance of the second half came when substitute Siyabonga Nontshinga fired just over the crossbar after a Cosmos counter-attack.

Meanwhile AmaZulu's best shot at the win came from Ayanda Dlamini, who was played in on the left. The striker shot from a tight angle, but it was straight at Avril Phali.

It was a game of much goalmouth action, but no converted chances, and AmaZulu may come to regret the draw when it comes to the top eight at the end of the season.

Jomo is stingy, he is in the game for money, his coaching methods are outdated, his break other players legs are childish, he celebrated a mickey mouse cup before world cup finals and RSA failed to reach knock out stages, he is clueless, he is still living in the dark ages!!! hire a new coach...this are new ages of technology baba, they will tear you to pieces!!!

The thing about Jomo is that he thinks he is clever. When asked why he doesnt retire from coaching now that it is post 2010 WC as he promised, the answer was: "It is still post 2010. Next year and 2014 will still be poat 2010. 2025 will still be 2010."

When he was promoted at the end of last season, he said some people jealous of him were not happy that he got promotion. I mean really, who can be jealous of a loser?
