Witbank Spurs dumped Mpumalanga Black Aces out from the Nedbank Cup with a 3-2 penalty shootout win at Rand Stadium.

Lineker Mwiikisa had opened the scoring for Aces in the 41st minute, connecting with Koketso Mmotong’s cross.

However, Ralph Matema equalised for Spurs in the 70th minute from a corner kick, sending the game into extra-time and eventually into the shootout, where Matema also scored the winner.
