Maritzburg United 0 Moroka Swallows 1

A solitary goal from Lefa Tsutsulupa was not enough to hand Moroka Swallows the title, as Orlando Pirates beat Golden Arrows 4-2.
Swallows did their part to win the game, ending on 56 points, but it was not enough as Orlando Pirates took the League with 58.
Maritzburg had an early chance to open the scoring when Philani Zulu hit a shot wide on three minutes.
Half an hour later Michael Morton almost put The Team of Choice ahead with a shot from 25 yards, but it went wide to the left.
The League's top goal scorer Siyabonga Nomvethe should have given Birds the lead in the 25th minute when he turned and shot inside the box from eight yards, but the ball went over the bar. It was a poor effort from Nomvete, who should have scored.
Maritzburg started the second half on the up, as Ryan de Jongh had a shot from outside the box saved by Greg Etafia.
In the 56th minute David Mathebula did some great work on the edge of the box, and laid the ball onto Nomvete, but with only the keeper to beat 'Bhele' shot high.
But The Birds got the goal they needed when their inspirational leader opened the scoring.
A great free-kick by Lerato Chabangu floated into the box, and Tsutsulupa flicked the ball into the net past Shu-Aib Walters.
In search of the second goal Chabangu took a shot from long range, which was flicked away by the keeper for a corner, and the match ended in disappointment for Swallows.
