Two penalties and two top class goals saw Jomo Cosmos and SuperSport United draw 2-2 in Daveyton.

The Cosmos goals were scored by a Siyabonga Nontshinga brace while Kermit Erasmus and Ashley Hartog scored for United.

It was Cosmos who scored first when exciting attacker Tshidiso Tukane was hacked down just outside the danger area, but a penalty was awarded.

Siyabonga Nontshinga made no mistake in the 35th minute, blasting beyond Ronwen Williams’ reach.

Soon after the half time break, SuperSport began clawing their way back into the match.

In the 52nd minute substitute Kermit Erasmus beat the offside trap and brought down a long ball, beat the on-rushing Abisai Shiningayamwe and slotted home.

Another substitute, Ashley Hartog, made it two in the 60th minute when he controlled the ball with his chest before volleying into the bottom corner.

Minutes later, Atusaye Nyondo missed a sitter with just the goalkeeper to beat and in the 64th minute, Langerman conceded a second penalty for the night.

The same player, Nontshinga, put away his second of the night.

In the dying moments man of the match Shiningayamwe tipped Maluleke’s curling free kick over the cross bar.

Patson u must b crazy 2 points after 5 games nd u say wel done,as 4 last nite game l say we should hav won nd l think the coach should start with Kermit than Niang he waisted many bals nd if Kermit start then we wil score more than we hav,Nyondo did play wel not he should deal with the one on one situation besides that he is a gud playa,Dikwena must know that we r coming for colection.
