Kaizer Chiefs down Bidvest Wits

A piece of magic from knowledge Musona in the 16th minute earned Kaizer Chiefs a hard fought 1-0 victory in a League match played at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday night.
Musona’s goal was the highlight of a hard fought encounter but left the Kaizer Chiefs mentor, Vladimir Vermezovic, with more questions than answers after his charges missed a glut of opportunities in the first half.
Chiefs played their hearts out from the first whistle, displaying soccer wizardry much to the delight of their fans, but failed to take their handful of chances in front of goal.
Chiefs Zimbabwean striker atoned for his earlier misses when he blasted a bullet like free-kick into the back of the net in the 16th minute to put Amakhosi in the driving seat.
Truth be told, Bidvest Wits were never in the game as they gave the ball away cheaply, thereby allowing their limelight-seeking opponents acres of space to play the ball around with confidence
Wits have their goalkeeper, Darren Keet, to thank for going into the break only a goal down as he was the busier of the two keepers. He made some brilliant saves denying Musona and company what could have been an embarrassment for the Students.
Sifiso Vilakazi nearly gave his side an equalizer but his well taken shot was deflected for a corner by Dominic Isaacs in the 39th minute, while Tshabangu blazed his shot over the bar a minute later.
Coming from the break, Bidvest Wits nearly scored a replica of Chiefs’ first goal, but Stanton Fredericks free-kick flew over the bar.
A minute later, Musona could only watch in disbelief when his attempt from inside the Wits danger area went inches wide with Darren Keet in no man’s land.
After the two misses, Wits were impressive in their forward forays as the Clever Boys swamped the Amakhosi’s territory in search of an equalizer, but found Itumeleng Khune in an uncompromising mood.
Sifiso Vilakazi must have thought that the Gods have turned their backs on him when his rocket like shot missed the target in the 63rd minute.
At that stage, Wits looked dangerous on a few raids they launched and had the Chiefs rearguard reeling as they piled pressure, but luck seemed not to be on their side.
However, Chiefs did not rest on their laurels and they played their hearts out. Still, despite coming back a much better side in the second half, taking the game back to Chiefs, Wits tried everything they could to level matters but failed to punish Chiefs when they had them under siege.

These two teams don’t score fluke goals like pathetic sundowns and pirates.
We win with style. Like I said b4, sunkop is going home empty handed this season.
There was not Nyasa and Municipality truck who happen to score fluke goals.
Watching Sunkop and pirates play is a waste of time and energy, even the useless Santos is better than these two donkies.jrrrr
Happy with the win , but still think we could have done more damage to the students.
Shapa Khosi Shapppppppppppppppaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Cheaps will win the league after 24 years, doubling their previous record of 12. It was a lucky escape for the Jezebels!
I blame all this to this moron krol for handing them 4milion to bribe referees again after a dificult financial yr at the chimps den.
