AmaZulu beat Celtic

Posted: 6 December 2009 Time: 17:56

Amazulu came from behind to beat Bloemfontein Celtic 2-1 in an Absa Premiership match played at Ulundi Stadium.

Celtic starts the match the stronger side with Prince Olumu, Tlou Segolela and Excellent Walaza threatening to score.

On the 17th minute, Nigerian striker, Olomu grabbed his tenth goal of the season when he opened the score for Celtic after receiving a great pass from Walaza to make the score 1-0.

The Nigerian continues to run riot the Amazulu defence but he was denied on numerous occasions by the brilliant Usuthu goalkeeper, Mbongeni Mzimela.

On the stroke of halftime, Motlhaping hacks down Ayanda Dlamini inside the box and referee Harry Lekitlane gives a penalty.

Usuthu defender Marc van Heerden stepped up before hitting a powerful shot into the back of the net.

In the second half both teams look cagey using counter attacks. With both teams playing for a draw, Amazulu midfielder, Tsweu Mokoro, produced a moment of brilliance when he ran the Celtic midfield before unleashing a shot into the path of Ayanda Dlamini.

The striker trapped the ball before hitting the back of the net giving Usuthu sixth win of the season.

R PSL players nt so discipline or they R applying rough game. Or do refs enjoy/frustrate the players with so many yello-cards. Look how many cautions in the Amazulu/Celtic game. Something z nt rite. Refs R nt feet or Players R nt respecting da beautiful game.

Howcome Siwelele only have one colour kit? They were playing away but if you look at the photos you'll think they were hosting Usuthu.I personaly think that they should be like all other pro teams they have away kits which most of the time is white.Come on Siwelele.

Motlhaping played nonsense on the day. He gave an unneccessary penalty away and gave away the second goal. Anyway, all is not lost. it was not our day.

Boys, remember we need 15 points out of the remaining 10 games. 45 points is still within reach

Moxin, you did not watch the game so stop criticising. The picture is not from yesterday's game. It is from th first leg, which was our home game.

Yesterda Celtic was wearing a white kit with green stripes. Know your soccer man. All teams in the PSL have at least 2 kits ( home and away).
