Swallows get back on track

Moroka Swallows beat Maritzburg United 2-0 in an Absa Premiership match played at Dobsonville on Sunday afternoon.

The goals were scored by Sibusiso Khumalo and David Radebe.

Both sides were down to 10-men during the second half after Swallows had Ashraf Hendricks sent off for a second bookable offence and a few minutes later Norman Smith was sent off for elbowing.

Khumalo scored in the 79th minute beating keeper Tashrique Goldman with a hard shot at the near post to make it 1-0.

Then in the 89th minute Radebe headed home Ryan Botha's corner to give the Birds their much needed three points.
