Valuable win for Chiefs

Siphiwe Tshabalala's retaken penalty is enough to give Kaizer Chiefs a precious 1-0 win over Platinum Stars
It was all Platinum Stars in the first half as Chiefs failed to test Wayne Sandilands at all.
Stars had their chances and really should have been two or three goals up at the break.
Almiro Lobo hit the crossbar in a fantastic move involving Alton Meiring and Tsepo Ramokala.
Lobo missed another good chance and Meiring forced two saves out of Arthur Bartman.
Then against the run of play Chiefs scored the opener.
Tshabalala won himself a penalty when he took cleverly on George Mofokeng inside the area, and the big defender made a clumsy challenge.
'Shabba' scored, but had to retake his spot kick and scored again, going the same way as his first strike.
But just before the penalty, Steve Komphela felt that Tshabalala had fouled Stanley Kgatla on route to the penalty area.
A furious Steve Komphela continued to complain and got himself into further trouble with the referee and got sent off for abusing Matthew Dyer.
Substitute Nkosinathi Nhleko came on and helped Chiefs keep the pressure on Stars late in the game.
Tshabalala should have scored a second. But in a one on one situation with Sandilands he takes too long to execute his shot and instead his weak attempt is thwarted.
